St. John’s serves the hungry of Baltimore by providing casseroles every other month. Our target is to collect 100 casseroles, although Our Daily Bread would be very happy if we could do 250!
We need your help to achieve this goal. Recipes and pans are provided free of charge and located in the bin outside of the parish office. All you have to do is shop, bake, freeze, and deliver the casseroles to the big freezers in the church hall. Casseroles can be brought in at any time. Deliveries to Our Daily Bread are made on Sunday before the first Monday of every other month.
If you are unable to prepare a casserole, you can provide a family-size Stouffer’s Mac ‘n Cheese or “wish list” items, such as: cereal, sugar, tea bags, iced tea mix, lunch bags, zipper sandwich bags, or plastic forks.
