What conversion of mind, heart, and life is the Lord asking of me?
“A man going on a journey called in his servants and entrusted his possessions to them.” What gifts has God entrusted to me? How am I using those gifts?
“Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.” How can I be more faithful in prayer and participation in the Church’s mission? How does my faith bring me joy?
“So out of fear I went off and buried your talent in the ground.” How do my fears keep me from living the life God calls me to live? How have I ignored my talents and those of others?
Lord, help us embrace your gifts in such a way that at the end of our time on this earth, we will hear You say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant… Come, share your master’s joy.”
