Today’s Prayer – June 18
by Sr. Carol Czyzewski, Director of Adult Faith Formation
In Your hallowed name, Father, dear Abba, I pray as Jesus taught, spiritually uniting myself with each person You created. I believe that each one is a sister and a brother brought into my life by You, our Abba.
When I hear daily news of so much suffering and injustice, I turn to Your loving presence and unconditional forgiveness, praying that I can open my mind and heart to do Your will.
I praise You, I thank You, for the daily bread of Eucharist and of the gifts that can be used to bring healing and reconciliation into this country and throughout the world.
Deliver us, Your daughters and sons, from all evils. Draw us more deeply in the Good News of Your way, Your kingdom on earth and in heaven.
Bless us, please, with Your peace and wisdom! They radiate from good and faith-filled persons who treat coronavirus patients, who cry for equal justice, who generously serve the needy. May we listen to You and to each other so that Your kingdom will spread in our day and in our place.
