June 1 Daily Prayer & Update

Today’s Prayer – June 1

by Shawn Blair, Business Manager

Lord Jesus Christ, we love You and we praise You. We thank You for all of the blessings bestowed upon us.

In today’s reading, we learn about the original sin from Genesis. Our nation has been greatly blessed, but also has an original sin. Too often, we have treated our brothers and sisters differently based on the way You chose for them to look.

Jesus, during Your ministry here, You often reached out with love to those who were nothing like You. Let it be the same for us. Help us realize that if we are to imitate You, we must love all of our brothers and sisters as You do.

My Lord, bless the victims of injustice. Bless those who died or were injured while fighting injustice peacefully.

O Mary Conceived Without Sin, Pray For Us.

St. Anthony of Padua, Pray For US.

St. Francis of Assisi, Teach Us to be Peaceful Like You.
