IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING – PART-TIME MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

St. John’s Church has an immediate need for a part-time Media & Communications Coordinator to work up to 19 hours per week in the parish office. Duties include: creating the weekly bulletin, editing and updating the parish website, managing parish social media content, parish app, and email programs, as well as designing and producing promotional materials for parish events.

Requires working knowledge of WordPress as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.  Excellent writing, time management, and organizational skills are essential.  High school diploma and at least three to five years’ experience performing communications/marketing duties are required. At least two years of college and familiarity with the parish, ministry, and the mission of the Catholic Church preferred. VOLUNTEER POSITION – PARISH RECEPTIONIST

St. John’s Church has an immediate need for part-time volunteers to assist with general receptionist duties in the parish office, including: answer phones and take messages, greet and assist visitors, receive and distribute mail and packages, and assist pastor and parish staff as needed. Training will be provided, and hours are flexible (parish office hours are Mon-Thurs 8 AM-4PM; Friday 8 AM-12PM). Those interested should contact Fr.
